Ed Post
The Big Cheese

Having worked for over 27 years in a large accounting firm Ed brings a wealth of experience to the businesses he works with. He has been a past entrepreneur in the retail industry as well for over 10 years, so he knows the practicalities, pitfalls and risks of running a small business outside of the accounting profession.

Somewhat sports mad, Ed has represented Canterbury and NZ in squash at the masters level. He is currently Chairman of the Canterbury Squash Foundation, and is on the committee for the Christchurch Squash Club.

Ed is inherently positive about most things in life, and not much fazes him. Ed looks for the best in people, and always looks for the best possible outcome for his clients as a result.

Laurie Rose.jpg

Laurie Rose
Director, Rose & Associates Limited; Consultant, EPA Business Limited

Laurie started work with a larger Christchurch accounting practice that became part of one of the major global players. That background formed an expectation of high service standards but also identified the importance he placed on working directly with clients where personal relationships and background awareness were developed through many years. The “Team at Rose & Associates” viewed their clients as much more than names and numbers on some spreadsheet and derived great satisfaction from the personal contact and shared successes (and hiccups) along the way.

The transfer of the Rose & Associates client base inside of EPA Business allows Laurie more time to pursue his personal hobbies and art collection, leisure time with wife Barbara and regular walks with cocker spaniel Harry, along with some long-planned building projects. At the same time, he remains available for Rose & Associates clients so that there’s no loss of the background knowledge of years.

Born in South Africa and having lived in Christchurch since he was thirteen, Greg is now a fully-fledged Kiwi (until they play South Africa in the rugby or the cricket!). Greg is sports mad and also helps out as a Strength & Conditioning coach in a friend’s gym.
