THREE-DAY WEEKENDS WELCOMED
We are thrilled to have been highlighted at The Press for our implementation of the Four-Day Work Week!
Contrary to what some might assume, the decision to adopt this innovative approach was not taken lightly. It involved numerous meetings and careful planning to ensure a seamless integration without compromising the quality of our work.
Thanks to our embrace of technology and effective strategic planning, EPA Business smoothly transitioned to the Four-Day Work Week starting in April 2023, with the office closing at midday on Fridays. By June of the same year, our team had gained enough confidence to officially designate Friday as a part of the weekend.
The positive impact on our team's well-being is undeniable. With an extra free day, they now have valuable time for quality moments with their families and can efficiently tackle tasks that would typically consume a significant portion of their weekends, such as errands and household chores.
This newfound routine has not only enhanced everyone's work-life balance but has also proven to boost productivity and motivation across the board. Moving to this new structure has seamlessly become a welcomed and appreciated part of our weekly routine!

New rules on GST invoicing apply from 1 April 2023. These changes have been designed for 21st century business record-keeping and modernise invoicing rules in place since 1986, based on paper-based record-keeping systems.
The rules are permissive, so businesses can issue current tax invoices without falling foul of the new rules. However, this doesn’t mean you can ignore them. Your suppliers and customers may introduce changes to their systems stemming from the new rules. You need to be ready to cope with receiving ‘taxable supply information’ in different formats, as opposed to a ‘tax invoice’.
